Questions
Why isn't rebuild on the rate card?
Every property is different. Mitigation rates are standard. Rebuild is quoted in writing after dry-out, once we know what came out.
Do I need a second contractor?
You can. Many customers do not, because the company that saw the cavities is the one hanging the board.
When does rebuild start?
When every marked point meets target and you have approved the scope. Not before.
Will you match existing finishes?
We try. Heritage and strata common property may need board approval. We flag that early.
Is waterproofing included?
If the loss path should not repeat — a shower, a planter, a below-grade wall — we quote the fix. We do not hide it in mitigation.
How do you work with an adjuster?
The drying log and photos are the file an adjuster can read. See insurance.
