What a drying log is, and why you should ask for one

A log is readings at marked points, every day, until target. If a company cannot show you one, they are guessing.

A drying log is not a marketing PDF. It is the same points, metered, dated, until they meet the target we wrote down on day zero.

Ask for it. Adjusters ask for it. Boards should ask for it. It is the one verifiable quality difference in restoration.

Our equipment cap — five days without written approval — only works if someone actually comes back to read the meters. That is the operational point of publishing the cap.

If the log is missing, you cannot tell whether the job was done or merely looked dry.
